Default Full Customs Inspection of ship?
Just got an email telling us that our boarding will be delayed. Here's why:

The ship will be arriving to the Port of Miami on March 30 from Chile. There will be a required full crew and guest immigration inspection by U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

Anyone know what this is, and why? Curious minds want to know.....

Too much time cruising around South America and Customs is wanting to make sure the ship and everyone on it when it arrives in the U.S. is "clean". It happens periodically.
