Thanks for the photos. I'll be attending the naming ceremony for the Equinox at Southampton, and then will board the ship for a couple days.

Celebrity has announced the Equinox spa will offer a 24k Gold facial. I'm sure it will be $$$$.

Along with the facial, comes this:

Guests who experience the 24-Karat Gold Facial will also be able to enjoy a special cocktail inspired by the treatment itself. The “Golden Kiss Martini” will feature Golden Supreme vodka, cucumber juice, agave syrup and lemon juice, muddled with fresh mint.

If you leave out the cucumber juice, double up on the vodka and serve it in a golden goblet with diamond shaped rocks - you'll have a decent martini!

A true cruiser must believe in something - I believe I'll try one of those!!!

Cucumber juice isn't as bad as it sounds, it's really quite refreshing. The agave syrup and fresh mint should really bring it to life. However, I'm not going to get a 24K facial or 24K anything. Only a skilled surgeon can turn back the hands of time, and I couldn't put up with the pain. I'm sure plenty will try it, though.

I think we're counting on Dave to sample this beverage in a few weeks and report back to us!! Ohh for the rugged life of a cruise journalist!!! (sigh!!!)
