We are just back from The century it was a good cruise. More later.

It was a very nice cruise, the service was excellant. The food quality and presentation was excellant.The inside of the ship was very clean and they were constantly cleaning. The outside of the ship needs a good chipping and painting but it isn't bad. As far as the week in dry dock it was all mechanicals, plumbing ,a/c and engine tune ups. I talked to the captain several times and he said he does not think the Century is going away anytime soon.He also said he does not know of any dry dock for updates coming anytime soon.I hope this helps.

I too love the Century and we took her to the British Isles. Nice size for us and I did love our CC cabin. So glad you had a wonderful time where did you go?

I also wanted to add that Saturday evening before Mothers day the wait staff came to the table of every lady, Mom or not and gave them all long stem red roses for mothers day. A very nice touch.I also wanted to point out that the Captain was constantly roaming the ship mingling with the pax.I have never seen this much interaction.

We were just on the Millenium. Ladies all got flowers on Mother's Day. We also noticed the officers mingling with the passengers. It was announced that the Century was staying on to do Hawaii cruises.

I have never seen officers mingle with the pax the way they did on our last one. The captain was just a great guy, he went out of his way to be friendly.
