Bob,
We just booked our 1st Celebrity cruise on the millenium out of San juan 2/4/2011. I will have to trust they figure it out as well!
We're not booked yet, but it looks like we'll be getting off the Millenium the same day you're getting on. One thing that I still don't have a grasp on is the dinner buffet option. On Princess they serve a large variety of esqusite entrees at the buffet if you wanted that in lieu of the dining room, and on many nights the food was as good or better than what the dining room offered. I'm hoping that the Millenium offers some quality options as well because we often prefer a more casual dinner hour.
We were on the Millenium two years ago and it was PERFECT in every way. I thought the food was outstanding and the service perfect. We did a Mediterranean Cruise for 12 days and we are booked on Equinox for February 2011 for 10 days. You will be very happy - don't worry about a thing.
Just about ready to sign up for an 11-nighter....any suggestions on state room location? I would assume "center and low" would be the best spot for the least amount of movement. We don't mind taking stairs at all.
I will have to say our last cruise on the Century was very nice. The food was excellant and the service was great. The ship needs to be scraped and painted out side but inside it was in very good condition. I was very pleased it looks like X is getting turned around.
Just booked the 11-nighter on the Millenium starting on Jan. 24 - San Juan, St. Croix, St. Kitts/Nevis, Dominica, St. Lucia, Barbados, Grenada, Curacao and Aruba. I'm a meticulous planner so I'll have plenty to do between now and then.
