We're booked on Celebrity Millenium , New Zealand to Sydney - departing Auckland 21 December. Has anyone been on a Christmas cruise before - i'm wondering what 'festive' entertainment, activities, meals etc are likely to be on offer - we are very excited , it's our first Christmas 'away' ever !!!!

Christmas is a very festive time aboard a ship. There will be a big Christmas tree, probably in the atrium, and probably smaller trees in other locations. There will be traditional music going on, special entertainment, etc. You'll have a great time!

thanks for that - we're really looking forward to the cruise & hoping to meet lots of people. We're from West Australia, i'm guessing there will be a good 'mix' of nationalities on this cruise.

Another question - are Celebrity likely to have any 'theme' nights ( i'd like to be a little prepared & know what to take if so)- we were on a P&O cruise in January & they had a couple of these nights.
Am a little worried about some of the posts i've read re the Millenium , but am pretty sure it will be fine (we're not too easilly annoyed!)
