Luggage Tags

Good morning.
For my Infinity cruise in March, I just realized that I have no luggage tags. I called about it and was told I could get them either at the airport when I arrive, or at the pier. Any experience with this routine? Or should I put something on my bags with ship and cabin name?

When you get to the pier the porters will provide tags for you. The cruise lines are getting out of the sturdy luggage tag business, with e-docs being the way cruises are ticketed. The porters won't touch a bag unless it has a tag attached. Don't forget to have a pen handy!

Alternately I guess you could go to the Celebrity people in the baggage claim area and get tags too, but we just do it at the pier.

Why didn't I think of that? It seems I get another pack of those in the mail everyday from some charity or group.
