stateroom noise cc millennium

A bit concerned now as I found a few posts about the noise issue due to the Grill being directly above us. Posts were made that due to the chairs/cleaning etc. that the noise was heard the deck below. I have a health issue and require a bit more rest and am very worried now about this. We are in stateroom 9164 in the aft of the ship. Has anyone experienced this problem, and is it something I should be concerned with? I don't want a two week tour becoming a nightmare. thank you

It is hard to say whether you will be bothered or not. Some peole are more sensitive to noise than others. Generally, any noise you might hear shouldn't be bad enough to keep you from having a peaceful sleep. When I was on the Mariner Of The Seas recently I kept hearing a particular noise. I finally figured out it was when a waiter was rolling a food cart from one end of the buffet to the other end.

the noisiest cabin I ever had was under the hot tub/pool on the millenium.

I think, often, the lower deck cabins can be the best (no screw/engine noise in the new ships)and less around to be noisy!
