This is a ship my parents sailed on when I was just a kid. At that time it was sailing to the Bahamas out of Miami.

I remember the Chandris Line, but I don't remember the ship. I'm sure I saw it in port at one time or another. Years ago, and I mean in the early 70s, I worked for South Atlantic Steamship Agency. We bought 3 ships in Miami and had 2 that sailed out of Port Laudania. Of course, we had to clear everything through customs and immigration in Port Everglades. We shipped to the Bahamas, Turks and Caicos. Being a freight agent, I got to do loads of things besides paper work, including loading the ships or going on the ships to settle insurance claims.
