Has any one heard anything new about the Indy. Are there any pictures of her in Dubai? I she still there?

Hi Sky King, according to 'save the classic liners campaign' she is still in Dubai for sale, with hopefully interested parties from Macau the US and Dubai, we can only hope.

Will arrive in Dubai in November on the QE2's last voyage and will look for her.

News as of early October the Independence sold to european group for use as workers accomadation or as hotel ship in Arbian gulf. Maybe emcmd can see if she is prepared for a move.Info care of save a classic liner campagin.

Interesting news on the SS Independence/Oceanic her current owners have been fined for illegaly exporting the vessel from the U.S.It is also written that she will be put to further use as a workers accomadation in the Arabian Gulf. Can all be read on save a classic liners campain website.
