Such a shame that the ship couldn't join the ranks of the Queen Mary and SS Rotterdam as a hotel ship. At least the thought of the SS Rotterdam becoming a hotel ship(When I thought that it should be in late 1997 as a prime candidate to join the Queen Mary) became a reality, despite the financial hardships that followed with its controversial renovations that had more to do with the asbestos removal than anything else.

Me too. Aside from the Big U, there is the QE2 and the MS Kungsholm.
