Car parking at Southampton

Does anyone know about the parking at Southampton? Seems expensive at around £150 so does anyone know where we can leave the car for 14 days instead of using the parking at the docks?

If you google "southampton dock parking" you should see a couple hits (3rd and 4th from the top) for a website called "holidayextras". I would post a link but it is a commercial site and that is against our forum rules.

Anyway, they say their lot is 20 minutes from the port, is secured, and they shuttle you back and forth. It is around 7 pounds per day, so you'd be saving almost 100 pounds.
