Hotels in San Juan

Hi,
We are looking for a hotel in San Juan for the night before we sail on the Serenade 12/2. I've been told that our ship leaves from the Pan Am pier, not from the one closer to Old San Juan. Also does anyone know what time the ship docks coming back. Our flights have been bumped up to 11am and I am a little concerned.

We stayed in the Plaza Hotel/Casino in Condado and really enjoyed it. It's been a few years ago, but it was a nice hotel. I know SonnyV has a favorite hotel there, so maybe he'll post. I think he's on the Freedom right now. Just let them know you have an early flight and they'll try their best to get you off of the ship in time. Best wishes!
