Hello everyone,

I will be cruising from Miami Port. I am wondering if anyone has used the shuttle service from the fort lauderdale airport to get to the port in miami. I am going on a western caribbean cruise operated by royal caribbean radiance of the seas on March 5-12/06.
Any Canadaians out there, I am leaving from toronto.

Edit: Moved to Port Hotels and Transfers forum. RF

There is a shuttle service, but, I have not used it.
We rented a car & drove ourselves.

Enjoy your cruise

Welcome to cruise-chat. I have used the shuttle service from Fort Lauderdale to Port of Miami numerous times. It is $17 per person for a shared van or $60 (total) for a private transfer. Service was fast and efficient. Is there something specific you wanted to know?

Hi Nancy
Where do you get this shuttle? We are 10 and have a rented car from FL to Miami. We thought about turning the car in at the Miami airport and shuttling to the port. But your idea sounds better. Can you pass on some details we leave to FL Dec 28.

Does this option work in reverse? We already have transport from Fort Lauderdale to Miaimi (relatives will be in the area), but we need a transfer from Miami to Fort Lauderdale on the 8th of January. We are 6 our family, including a 3 year old and a 1 year old. (The idea of renting a van from $150 for a 45 drive is really annoying!!!)

I have never used them for a cruise but I have been told SuperShuttle works well.

I think it's about $20 to go from Miami to Ft. Lauderdale.
