Fontainebleau Resort

Hey there my boyfriend and I are going to be staying at the Fontainebleau the night after our cruise is over. I was wondering if anyone has stayed there and can give me some feedback. I booked it there because it is somewhere he always says he wants to stay. Since I'll be happy the whole cruise I figured I could make him happy one night! Just kidding he'll have a great time on the cruise as well.

I stayed there several years ago for a conference. Huge resort. Nice public areas & pool area, and easy access to the boardwalk along the beach, which is great to walk on. Lots of shops in the basement area of the hotel. Tennis courts on the property too. The rooms vary widely - those in the older buildings (there are several satellite buildings, which I think used to be old hotels) are small and - when I was there - in need of refurbishment. Some of the rooms in the main building were quite nice. I still think the hotel is overpriced for what you get, though at least you can always say you stayed there.

Wow I was sooooo disappointed in this hotel.We were excited about it and have never been more dissapointed. We should have drivin home instead of staying here. They were shutting the hotel down on monday (We stayed Saturday night) all the pics were off the walls the staff was rude. I highly recommend not to stay there. If you have reservations cancel them.
