Tryp-Appolo hotel in Barcelona

Hello! we'll be staying in the Tryp-Appolo hotel in Barcelona in May. Does anybody have an experience with it? for example, can i leave my passport, etc there without worrying? also, how far is it from the port and from other city's landmarks? Thank you!

I didn't stay in this hotel, I stayed in one close to La Rabla. The description of your hotel says it is within 5 minutes of the harbour. It also says there's a Metro right close to the hotel. I personally don't like leaving my passport even in a hotel safe in a room. If they had a safe at the front desk then maybe.
