Hotel Miami South Beach

I was wondering if anyone could give me a good suggestion for a hotel on South beach Miami at a good price. Also does anyone know how much a taxi cost to go to the down town/beach area for the airport. Thanks

I recently just stayed in south beach after our cruise. We booked our hotel on hotwire, its hard to get one on priceline. But i would say its the best way to get an affordable hotel in south beach, as hotels go for a lot. anything they say is in southbeach is in a good location. Be prepared to be spending lots of money, southbeach is very expensive, food and drinks are triple the cost. A taxi to the airport is 33 dollars. Hope this helps.

Thanks we are actually now staying at a hampton inn by the airport and just talking a taxi to the port. It was easier and would rather spend the money on the ship, Thanks
