Booked on the Elation for 10/23/06(8 days and counting! )
We will be staying over night on the 22nd and was wondering if anyone has stayed at Quality Suites in Cocoa Beach. If so, any info about your stay would be greatly appreciated!

I was wondering if you had any problems with the shuttle or parking for the length of the cruise? I had read a couple of post about the hotel not wanting to stand by their offer of a free shuttle and parking, and just needed reassurance that this wouldn't be an issue.

Hey GA Lady

I have heard the same complaint. I actually live locally to the port. My recommedation is to park at the terminal for a few reasons. One is when you get off the ship your car is right there so you are not waiting for the shuttle bus to pull up because they can't wait next to the ship but across the street in the parking lot. Another reason is that you can have your car parked in a very secure lot behind a fence thats guarded. The other thing is are you leaving from the ship to go home? Or are you staying in the area a little longer? Is it just you and your hubby? The cost to park at the ship area is very little normally like 40-50 dollars. For me it is well worth it. I live locally like I said and I have had friends drop us off to save the money and that got to be a hassle cause you never know when your turn to disembark is and then folks are waiting for you also.
