ft lauderdale shuttle or cab

we are going to stay at the florida grande precruise in sept. and with 4 of us going was wondering what would be the best way to get from airport to hotel.a cab (can one take all of us with luggage)or should we take 2 cabs or hire a car.thanks for all your help.and lastly do they cabs charge by the number of people or flat rate for all of us.

the cabs in ft. lauderdale cannot charge for extra passengers. They also have some cab minivans at the airport. If your hotel does not offer a shuttle there will be an attendant at the taxi stand that can help with your needs

We recently used Top Shuttle from Ft. Lauderdale (Sleep Inn) to Miami Cruiseport. They were awesome! We had 13 people (women) with tons of luggage and they accomidated us very well! We had a private van with a trailer that held all of our luggage. When they picked us up from Miami cruiseport they didn't have the trailer so they sent two vans for the same price, $155.
