they have a super shuttle at the airport, I usually pay for round trip when I arrive, they have booths outside the terminal; then you can call them for pickup at port. I think it is 15.00, but not sure.

Super Shuttle can be a big hassle...we've had a mob scene, so it is worth a couple of extra dollars to not have the stress.

You can call 305-375-3677 for taxi rates. The quote that I received was $4.90 for the first mile and $2.40 for each additional mile, but the Taxi Company is happy to provide quotes. They have an airport fee, fuel surcharge, etc in addition to the mileage. Airport to downtown Miami is about $22, to South Beach is about $32. Those rates are per taxi not per person. I understand that the rate is the same no matter which company you ride with. Hope this information helps.

When I went on my cruise in 2007, it was $24 flat rate per cab (from Miami Airport to Port of Miami), plus something like a $2 toll. Again, I don't know the current rates.

Just got back, very organized taxi line, flat charge per taxi is $24, posted on the windows. We were lucky enough to have only two familes ahead of us, the taxis are lined up the baggage porter put our luggage right into the taxi.
