San Pedro to LAX SuperShuttle?

We'll be disembarking in San Pedro Tuesday 12/18 from Diamond Princess and have not yet arranged transfers to LAX. (Already have SuperShuttle reservations for day before embarkation and motel in San Pedro. Thanks for all your helpful advice!) We have a 1:15pm flight out of LAX. How does SuperShuttle work at the pier? Or, Would we be better off to purchase one-way transfers from Princess? Would these be available to purchase during the cruise? Thanks to all you experienced cruisers. Great site for helpful info and fun folks!

You can purchase transfers right on the ship. But Super Shuttle is almost always the better choice. And you can reserve it in advance just like you did pre-cruise. But even if you don't, there are always plenty of vans at the pier--just look for the guy in the blue polo with the clipboard.

Have a great cruise to Hawaii. We did that in April and loved it.

I would recommend SuperShuttle, as well. We used their ExecuCar divisions at San Pedro, and they were waiting for us when we disembarked. I also noticed several SuperShuttle vans in the area. I would book it in advance so that there will be one less thing to worry about on disembarkation day.

And you can pay the fare and the tip in advance, which REALLY makes it easy.
