Does anyone have any suggestions for transportation from the airport to the terminal besides the carnival "cattle car"?

You can take a taxi, or take the airports SuperShuttle. Last time I used the Super Shuttle it cost about $11 one way. You can catch it outside of the baggage area on the far end.

Hello, I'm also interested in alternative transportation options. Does this SuperShuttle need to be reserved? How big is it; will I/we be waiting for it to fill up in order to depart? There will be 3 in my group in December & 6 in January. We are looking for a quicker way to get from airport to ship, w/o having to wait for an entire bus to load. A local fellow cruising enthusiast suggested renting a limo or private van, has anyone done this? What was the cost? Would you recommend it, if yes, do you have contact info? THANKS in advance for your assistance/information!!

Hello Pagan, I was looking for transportation from Orlando to Port Canaveral on Sept. 25th. The cruise line wants $32 per person for a shuttle. I can rent a mid sized car for $26 total cost from the airport to the port. I have 24 hours to return the car. With the money saved I can stay in a hotel the night before and be at the port as early as I want. I called Budget at 1-800-527-0700. Hope this helps...

I am doing as SonnyV said. (Going to Port Canaveral). The one way rental drop off fee is minimal in my opinion for that Port. You would need to check with the rental car companies for going to Tampa. They may charge a bigger one way fee. (I used Avis)
