some where to stay in Tampa near pier

Do you know of a nice place to stay in Tampa not to far from the pier?

There is a Comfort Inn Aiport RJ Stadium that has shuttle from the airport to hotel, and to the pier for a small fee. You may be able to get a package which includes the shuttle to port. There is a Ramada Inn, and Holiday Inn Express Rocky Point for a few choices.

The Marriott Waterside is the closest nice hotel, literally a few blocks away. Or the Wyndham on Harobur Island, also very close. There's a relaitvely new Marriott Courtyard downtown on Ashley, right off the interstate and a short cab ride from the port. Or if you want to have some fun, the Hilton in Ybor City is also a short cab ride, and walking distance to plenty of restaurants and bars.
