Tampa Hotel Near Shopping

We are sailing out of Tampa in January 2009. I usually have sailed from Fort Lauderdale or Miami, but flights to Tampa are much cheaper. We will not have a car, but will probably want to do some shopping for drinks, etc. before boarding. Does anyone know of a good pre-cruise hotel within walking distance of shopping (even if just a grocery store)? If the hotel has a shuttle to the airport or port and/or is close to one or the other, that's great. Thanks.

You might be interested in Hilton Garden Inn Ybor City. They even have a shuttle to the port.
