Galveston Hotels

We are first time cruisers and need help in recommendations on a hotel in Galveston. We would really like to stay somewhere we can leave our car. Any suggestions?

We're staying at the Ramada Inn on the Seawall for our 11/06/05 cruise on the Conquest. 2 miles from the pier, you can leave your car there for the duration of the cruise, no shuttle to the pier, you have to take a cab, we got a price of $56 for the night.

I have stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn on the Seawall. They allow you to park your car for free for the duration of your cruise AND offer a shuttle to and from the pier.

Same with the Victorian Inn Condo Hotel and Suites on Seawall...

I've discovered that many of the hotels in Galveston allow for parking during the time of a cruise. I went to the following link, read up on a few that I might be interested in, then called or looked at their web site to see if they allow for parking and pricing.
