Taxi cab fee

I'm flying into Miami and will be taking a taxi to my hotel. I'm staying at the Mariott Biscayne Bay on North Bayshore Drive. Does anyone know approximately how much the cab fare will be for the ride? Thanks!

You would figure a hotel of this size to have a shuttle service. Oh well, this is from Marriot's website:
Miami - MIA
Hotel Direction: 7.5 mi E
Driving Directions: Take 836 E. to 395 (Miami Beach) Exit. Exit to Biscayne Blvd, turn left. Turn right on NE 15th St. Go 1 block, turn left onto N. Bayshore. Hotel is on the right side of street on N. Bayshore Dr.
Estimated taxi fare: 23.0 USD (one way)

Depending on how many people you are travelling with, you have to take luggage capacity into account. You could call a shuttle service like Top Shuttle and it may be more convenient and save money as well. Here is a link to their website and you can get rates online: Top Shuttle

Thank you drlivingston. I am cruising with 3 other people, one of them is flying in about 4 hours after me and the other two are still arranging their flights, I was just trying to figure out what the most economical way to go would be. Looks like at least one of us is going to hav to go solo and pay the $23 cab fare each way. As far as the hotel and transfers go, they did tell me that they will shuttle us to the port for $5 each at least, but no airport.
