FYI there are nice hotels within a mile of the port and it is a great area (not like some port areas)

Any particular ones that you can recommend? I always stay and park at the Radisson at the Port. Someone's car was stolen during the Carnival Dream's inaugural Florida cruise though. I haven't heard of it being a common occurrence type thing however.
