hi rickyray. Is that $51.00 Per Person, or for your entire family? If it's for the group, that's an outstanding price. I believe we paid in the $80 range for four.
We were transported from LAX to Long Beach as well. I still have our driver's calling card and I can Private Message you his phone number. Great guy. Prompt. Safe driver. Handled all 8 of our bags. I would gladly recommend him.
Let me know if your rate is per person and if you would like my information. Glad to help you out. A'ndrea

Okay, rickyray. Here are the pros and cons. It's a Carnival shuttle, correct? You have peace of mind knowing it's a definite they are going to be there to pick you up at LAX and get you to the ship in time. It's about a 45-55 minute ride without any traffic jams or delays. Always expect the worse in LA. Especially on the freeways. $102.00 for two people, round trip seems fair to me. Throw in a tip at $1-$2 per bag both ways. I know a taxi will run you more than that. Taxi service in LA, in general, is astronomical. At least if there's a hold up with the shuttle, the ship will wait for you. I can still give you our driver's card if you'd prefer. The shuttle seems to me to be a safe bet. Let me know. A'ndrea

Andrea, thanks for all the good info.Good point about it being a CCL shuttle and the possibility of being late..I think we will just go with CCL all the way.CCL has always been good to me!!! After first cruise,i became stock holder,,,good move,,,just wish they still had that onboard credit for stockholders!!!

hi rickyray, I honestly think that's your safest bet! Like I said, you just can never tell in LA. LAX is mahem alone. Factor in traffic, construction delays, accidents. At least with CCL shuttle you know they aren't leaving without you on board. BTW... smart move on your part buying stock in Carnival. Have a great cruise! A'ndrea
