We are cruising the Star Princess from Venice to Rome. However, we arrive in Venice a couple days early. Does anyone know if the Motorlaunch Service that Princess mentions in their Port Guide for Venice operates on Embarkation day?

It operated when we took a similar cruise two years ago.

If its not check out this website for people mover,,near pier,,www.veniceforvisitors.com,,,really gives lots of info.
Our ship didnt provide so used vaparetto,gondolas,water taxis,,during our stay..expensive but fun...easy to walk most places,,but not with luggage...even took regular taxi from ship to airport....
