Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay hotel

I booked a room in this hotel for October of next year with an advanced rate of $99(and I can always cancel it the day before) Is this a good price? Has anyone ever stayed at this hotel before? There is someone on the other forum that mentioned that she got the same hotel for $55.
I was thinking about going on Priceline to get a cheaper rate, but I'm kind of scared that I won't get the same nice hotel. What is your suggestion on this one? Thanks

That is a great price for a Marriott. Your right, there is no guarantee what you might get through Priceline. If the location is important to you I would stick with what you have. Someone may say they got it for $55, but did they really? Were all taxes included and a different time of year will be different rates.

Cruise Fanatic, she said that she got it for $55 for the same month, but I don't know if there was tax included. My room is $223 with tax for 2 nights and I did some research before I booked it. My husband really likes the location. I think I'll stay with it! Thank you for your help

$99/per night in Miami, especially the Marriott and in Biscayne Bay is a fantastic price! I'm glad you opted to stick with it. I haven't been able to book a Super 8 for $55/night in Miami

Hello Penny, have you ever stayed in this hotel? If you did, can you please help me out? We're going to stay in this hotel for 2 nights and We want to do a little bit of sight seeing the day before the cruise, go have breakfast, lunch and dinner.(not places too fancy,so we can try to stay on budget) We have never been to Miami, so everything here is new to us! I did a lot of research, but I still need more opinions from the experienced cruisers
