We (3) are arriving early to Barcelona by plane and would like any recent information about the train/metro lines from the airport to Plaza de Cataluna. Also would like a website that lists costs and packages for metro in Barcelona. Thanks for the response.

We had a hotel with free transfer in Barcelona, so I can't say anything about taking public transport from/to the airport.

Thanks for the kind responses. I have found out that the train/metro connection to Barcelona is under construction and there may be need to take the aerobus. I will have to wait till we reach the airport and the information desk, but it is doable without too many transfers. Train/Bus to Catalonya and then switch to metro I believe. We are excited to be on our way shortly!

I am going to use barcelonataxi, I heard from the posts here that they are good. I am staying in the las ramblas area too, and don't want to lug around luggage on a bus.
