How was the luggage storage service?

I didn't know they allowed you to stow your luggage. I was told you had to stay with it. No matter, I just rented a car a tooled around Ft. Lauderdale.

At the Ft. Lauderdale Airport, you can store as many pieces of luggage that you wish (large or small) for $6 a piece. You do have to (remember) to pick it up by or before 5:30, or the door will be close, and you won't have your luggage, as they close it down.

Since we had such a long wait, it was worth it to us.

Was this a separate kiosk? I asked at the Delta counter and they treated me like I was a terrorist. Where was the storage? $6/ea. is cheaper than renting a car.

Well you might have been better off, renting a car (cheaper??)and taking in the sights.

I cannot tell you the exact loction where you can check your luggage in,in Ft. Lauderdale Airport, but it is in the same terminal where Midwest Airlines is, and you go as far back as you can. (They may have the same check in luggage at the other terminals, but I don't know for sure.)You can also ask one of the workers, and they should be able to tell you this also. Actually $6 a piece isn't bad, considering you don't have to lug it around, especially if it is BIG http://cruise-chat.com/groupee_commo...s/icon_mad.giflike mine.

Unfortunately, Midwest did not have a kiosk working outside, like the rest, so we had to go inside. Therein, since we could not check our luggage in, until 2 hours before, I decided to ask if there was a place where we could check our luggage in, to be held, until we could actually check it in. I think it may be called something like baggage claim area, but I'm sure someone who works there would be able to tell you.

The only thing that I noticed was (I could be wrong http://cruise-chat.com/groupee_commo...icon_frown.gif), but I didn't see many restaurants at the FLL airport, except Chilis.
