Hi, We are flying into Miami the night before our cruise on Freedom of The Sea. Could you please give me some tips on how to get from our hotel to the cruise ship? We are traveling with our three boys ages 23, 21, and 15 and will be staying at the Hampton Inn & Suites near the airport. I am looking for the cheapest way for all five of us to travel to the port. It will be impossible for all five to fit in one taxi. Any suggestions would be greatly appriciated. Thank you, Jan

Hi Jan and welcome to Cruise Chat.

Did you check with Hampton Inn to see if they offer van transport to the pier? Many hotels in the area offer such transportation.

If they don't, perhaps they can arrange for a taxi van to pick you up. These vans do hold 5 adults plus luggage.

A taxi is probably the cheapest
We took the shuttle from Embassy suites it was $10 pp there was just the 2 of us.... a taxi from the port to the hotel was $30 one yr the next yr the guy charged the flat rate of $24.
