Alamo - Shuttle Service - Fort Lauderdale

We've hired a car for a few days after our cruise, which gets us into Fort Lauderdale however we need to get to the airport to do all the paperwork and what not. On the Alamo website they state they have a shuttle service but it only seems to relate to airports or hotels. Can anyone confirm if Alamo will do a shuttle service from the port or would it be better to organize a cab/taxi.
If we need a lift can anyone recommend any thing.

FLL has a combined rental car center with all the major brands, and my understanding is they have a common shuttle which does pick-up at the port. I would call the local Alamo office at FLL for details.

Thank you for contacting Alamo Rent A Car.

The shuttle service to the port runs Noon- 3:00 PM. The service returning from the port runs 8:00 AM- 3:00 PM. Proceed to the shuttle area located on the 3rd floor for transportation to the Port.
