Any suggeastions of where to stay. Would like to be close to Port...possibly be able to see the ships ...any suggestions?

There are a couple close to the port. We used the Raddison at the Port. They provide a free shuttle service to the ship.

we went on priceline and got a GREAT DEAL and was very very close to the port. they also offered shuttle service to the ship. you can also park your car at their hotel for 20 bucks a week. try it

I've had pretty good success with Comfort Inn hotels. Nothing too fancy, but they are owned by Choice Hotels. The Comfort Inn and Suites Port Canaveral looks like they have a "Park and Cruise" package, which includes a shuttle to and from the port if you stay with them.
