Seattle restaurant recommendations?

Hi all. I'm planning a pre-cruise dinner with friends the one night we are all in Seattle in a few weeks, and need some ideas for a restaurant. We're all staying near Pike Street, but scattered between 2nd and 9th. Some of our criteria are that is wheelchair-accessible (this one's a deal-breaker), blue-jean casual, and preferably something local as opposed to a chain, and someplace where it's quiet enough to hear each other in conversation but not too quiet that we can't get a little loud in our conversations. There will be between 10 and 15 of us, including one teenager, and it will be on a Thursday in the early evening. I've done some research, yet I'd like to get recommendations, as well, from those I trust. Many thanks in advance!

Hmmm. I don't know if it's wheelchair accessible but if your party likes Seafood, then try Ivar's on the Seattle waterfront. This is the sit down restaurant, and not the walk up window that is located next door. I've been to that walk up location, and it has great fish and chips, among other things.

Having grown up in the Seattle area, their Seafood Bars, as they're called, was one of our favorite places to go to for a casual fast food type of lunch. Their Acres of Clams location, though, is a sit down type of restaurant. Being you have such a big party, if you do choose this place, you may want to see if you can make a reservation.

I haven't personally been to this specific location, only their fish and seafood bar next door, which is a walk up window with an indoor type patio seating, overlooking the Seattle waterfront.

Thank you, MC. This is definitely now under consideration!
