How is the parking? Is there enough parking and how much does it really cost?
|
dking67 - Parking at the Manhattan Passenger Cruise Terminal is currently $30 per day. Cash and Credit Cards are accepted. It is quite convenient and is right next to the pier with signs well posted. The entry into the pier area is located approximately at -52nd street and covers all the cruiseship slips- a 600-700 yard stretch- just drop your ticketed bags off with a porter (Usually $1/bag), send the family into the terminal, and go park your ride.
You'll get a nice view of the Carrier Intrepid from the elevated parking. Your walk into the terminal will be short and brief. It is very user friendly and convenient! You pay for parking in advance. When you tell them which ship your on - they'll know how much to charge! Bon Voyage, BillyBuzzy |
How early should I arrive to make sure I get a parking space?

There is plenty of parking at the terminals, it is rooftop parking and there never seems to be any problems with finding a parking space. Relax, just get there in time, It is a good idea to plan to be checking in after 12 noon - I prefer between 1 and 2 - the lines have dwindled.
