Cost of Parking for 8 day cruise from NYC on Miracle

The info on the Carnival websiteis a little outdated:

$24 per day
Projected 2008 rates -- $30 per day

So is it $24 or $30?
Does it cost more in 2009?
Does the price include tax?
Is a day a 24 hour period or a calendar day? For example, from Thursday Aug 28 to Saturday, Sept 5 is 9 days.

I'll be leaving on the Miracle on Aug 28, 2009.

My information shows $30 a day for New York. You pay at entrance. It is by the number of days of the cruise. 8 days times $30.

Wow! And I thought the $13-$15 a day out here was high!

WOW, is right... we just paid $15 a day at Cape Liberty, NJ and I was thinking that was high, that was this past Sept.

It's $30 per night at the Manhattan terminals per the NY cruise terminal official Web site.

That's not too bad for NYC, believe it or not. (I'd rather not believe it...)
