Transfer Fort Lauderdale - Port Canaveral

Hello everyone,

on November 19, we will arrive with the "Celebrity Equinox" in Fort Lauderdale and have to go to Port Canaveral to catch the "Disney Wonder" in the afternoon.

We are a party of 5 persons (plus baggage)- does anyone has an idea how to handle the transfer? Is there any reliable (but not too expensive) limousine-service you can recommend?

What is the nearest rental-car station to Port Everglades?

Furthermore, this is the maiden call of "Celebrity Equinox" - can we expect a scheduled arrival or might it be delayed to take official pictures of the arrival?

Wow, Fort Lauderdale to Port Canaveral is a good distance. The Equinox will be on schedule. There is a car rental at the airport which is only about 10 minutes from Port Everglades. This might be a good way to get to Port Canaveral. I don't know of any shuttle service that would be "reasonable". This company may be able to give you a price. Check with the car rental companies as well, we have Alamo, Hertz, Avis, Budget, Enterprise to name a few, which I'm sure you have some of these in Germany.

Actually there is a Budget office just outside the port. They will pick you up and it should be no dropoff charge for a car. You may want to check with them. It is actually no big deal to rent in Fl. since most car companies have no dropoff fees in the state.
