What can you tell me about this excursion, here is how it is posted:

Do you have a passion for the food and wine of Italy? Then you won't want to miss out on the most unique tour experience Boston has to offer— The North End Market Tour! As seen on TV Food Network's The Best Of, this is a foray on foot into the food traditions and marketplaces of the most authentic “Little Italy” remaining in America.

We met a couple from Canada and they said this was something to take in while in Boston. Thank you for your help. http://cruise-chat.com/groupee_commo...icon_smile.gif

I did see that episode on Food Network and it seemed like fun if you are into Italian cooking. If not, the North End is just a great place to roam on your own. The Old North Church and the many, many eateries are worth exploring. It can also be walked from the shopping area.

Sorry that I'm just seeing this. IMO, it sounds like a good tour, especially if you want the narration that goes along with it. We love the North End, yet its an area in which it is easy to get lost (both figuratively and literally). And, the only way to really see the North End is on foot. I'll see what else I can find out. (Maybe I'll even take it myself if I can find the tour company.)

Thank you both. The Canadian couple was so impressed with it all, if was thinking it must be great fun.
