Parking

Anyone parked their vehicle at the Holiday Inn Port of Miami for a week while cruising. We will prob. stay there the night before. Do they offer parking?

Parking at that hotel is for registered guests only - and then at $12 per day. They only have 44 parking spots, plus I wouldn't want to leave my car there even if they did allow it.

I just called Port of Miami Monday and they don't offer stay & park packages.

Either at the port or a nearby commercial parking lot. Obviously the port is much more convenient, although more costly.

I think Carnival has an arrangement with parking lots by the airport where you can park and they shuttle you to the ship and back.

HERE is the link for the off-airport parking from the Carnival website. It doesn't mention a shuttle so I am probably wrong about that part. I guess you would have to take a taxi from the airport after parking your car.

If it were me I'd just park at the port and suck up the $140 fee for 7 days. But that is me.
