I am looking to book a hotel for one or two nights before my cruise in San Juan. I want something close to the cruise port. Carnival recommends the Sheraton at Old San Juan and the Conrad San Juan. Has anyone stayed at these two or can recommend something else? These two are around $250 pp. I also want something with a pool. Thanks!

I just found the Intercontinental Hotel and Resort in San Juan. I think we will stay there because it has a great resort style pool. If anyone has been there, imput is appreciated. Thanks

Sorry no answers for you on hotels. I prefer to stay outside San Juan, I am not one for the nightlife. Love the El Conquistador, worth the travel for two days in my opinion. The property is magnificent. My friends love it though, and prefer to stay in San Juan, I just can't comment on your particular hotels, it has been 5 years since I have seen any of them.

We've stayed at the Condado Plaza, really nice hotel, convenient location.
