That could be a real challenge; Europe is not nearly as "enlightened" as America when it comes to smoking policy.

Spain has gotten stricter on smoking in public places to include the airport, work places, cafes, and restaurants. I couldn't find anything directly related to hotels though.

Thanks for responding. After reading info on hotels we were concerned there was no such thing as a non-smoking room.
