Does anyone have any idea how we could enjoy Miami on the day we get back from the cruise, without lugging our luggage all over the city? We will have all day. Flight doesn't leave until 9pm. I looked into day passes at local hotels and they are very expensive. Carnival has an excursion that would store luggage, but it doesn't look that great. Any ideas?

At the Ft. Lauderdale airport, they now offer a service to store your luggage, Miami might have something similar. This might help, check baggage checkroom/storage.

If your cruise ends in Miami I know you are not going on Princess; but Princess has a service that takes your luggage from your cabin to your plane--you don't see it until you reach your destination. I would not be surprised of other cruise lines offer this same service.

Great suggestion f-mattox! I think wowteacher is going on Carnival. They also offer the Luggage Express service in Miami. The fee was $15 per person with a limit of two bags per guest. This service also includes the airline boarding passes.

Thanks Dwayne; I forgot to mention the boarding pass part. It really is a great deal when you think of the hassle it saves.
