Transfer from Lax to the ship

Any advantages to booking Carnivals transfers ($29 per) or use a private service. The reason I ask is that Carnival is more than $10 more per person each way.

terry, we hired privately and we had no problems. Just factor in the freeway traffic and you'll be fine. I have the name of the private company we used. I can p.m. it to you, if need be.

Also...
We told the company ahead of time... 4 passengers, 8 large pieces of luggage. They showed up with a good-size van (not a mini van). Made it very easy and comfortable.
