Hotel Port of Miami

Anyone recommend a reasonable hotel to stay nite before cruise...had bad experience at Holiday Inn with going through luggage and carry ons when leaving luggage in holding room til the room was ready!

Red Roof Inn near the airport has been suggested. We stayed at the Westin in Coral Gables, but they did not offer shuttle service to the port. I believe it was $24 from the hotel via taxi. Anything on south beach will not be reasonable. Hope this helps.

We have stayed at the Embassy Suites a couple of times. It is just outside the airport. Although we have stayed in much nicer Embassy Suites, this one is not bad and you get a manager's reception and breakfast the next morning. They do have a shuttle to the port but I can't remember the pricing. It was reasonable though. You can also get the cruise package which includes this transfer already.
