Hello, I'm going on Voyager of the seas 9/6-9/13 med cruise with 8 people total (parents, in-laws, siblings). This site has been enormously helpful in finding ways to see the cities without excursions, but my in-laws and parents will probably want to do some for convenience. We were wondering if it is smart to pre-book them or is it easy enough to do this on the ship? The will probably be for later cities in the cruise, Rome and Naples. Thanks for your help. I'm sure I'll think of more questions soon....

Welcome to cruise-chat. We appreciate your kind words.

If you have made a decision to book some tours through the cruise line, I'd go ahead and book them online right now at the RCI website. You can book aboard the ship too, but by then some tours might be sold out or not have enough space for all of you. The price will be the same and the tickets will be delivered to your cabins, probably on the first evening.
