Mykonos car rental

I would like to rent a car from the
Mykonos Port and was wondering if anyone
new how I could do that. Do I have to get
to the airport or perhaps downtown first.
And is it easy to get around by car in Mykonos?

In my humble opinion, you don't need a car on Mykonos - I stayed there for a week a few years ago (before cruise lines found it!) and only used a car one day - I borrowed it from the bellman at my hotel. The town itself is walking only and if you want to go to Paradise Beach, there are boats in the harbor that act as ferries - they run back and forth all day long.

If you want to see the town, forget about car rental. The town is very small, the streets are very narrow, and there is no place to park. Other than tiny 3 wheeled delivery carts and mopeds, I didn't see any other cars in the town. The fun of Mykonos is wandering the widing streets and exploring, finding little shops, restaurants, etc...
You may want a car if you wish to skip the town and drive around the island, but I didn't see any rental places at the port. Good luck with it.
