Tipping Taxis in Italy

What is the standard rate for tipping Taxis and courtesy buses to and from airport and hotel?

Tipping is not as rampant in Italy as it is in the U.S. Most locals don't tip at all, but maybe 10% if you feel the service was worthwhile. I wouldn't go higher than that. As with many places, they don't expect tips from the citizenry but when an American shows up they know we are programmed for it.
