Has anyone been to Bari ( Italy )? Has anyone any suggestions on where to go if you have only about 3 hours in the area. How far is the port from the city centre or is there a pleasant marina or stroll along a seafront close by ?
Could this be one place Hank & some of our other members who cruise the Med haven't been to ?
I've checked some of the older posts but could really do with some up to date info...thanks

You have found out my weakness! We have never been to Bari, which is one of the 4 or 5 subregions we have missed in our cruises and drives.

I can help, we went to Bari on our own on car trip in Italy, it was great, very quaint, small, scenic..Lovely old town area, closed to cars for most part...great pier to walk on and great restuarant on the end...not sure about the docking location of big ships, may take tender to pier.Easy to navigate on own, many old churches, quaint shops with homemade goods, like lace,jewelry,etc...we stayed overnite and really loved this town...just wander around and enjoy Italy at its best.....
