can someone tell me if there is an iron on the ship? I heard there isn't a laundry and if not will I get prices for laundry services in the info that I receive before the cruise?
Can we get on and off the ship during the day when it is docked at Greek islands etc.

We were on the Noordam last year (Dec 06) and loved the ship. It was a surprise to find that there was no self-service laundramat since HA has them on most of their ships. We did not recall anywhere that they had access to an iron. As to the Greek Islands, assuming that you are docked, you have complete freedom to get on and off. You do not say which islands but Santorini is a tender port, Mykonos is usually, but not always, a docked port (although the pier is about a mile from town). Guess I should also mention Rhodes and Crete which are also docking ports.

Please do not bring a travel iron. The cruise line considers this a safety hazard. Instead, you can send items out for pressing. If you are traveling in a full suite, this service might be complimentary, but I'll have to check on that.
